Tyler Cox
George Washington University
ContributorTyler is a second year Latin American and Hemispheric Studies master's candidate in the Elliott School of International Affairs at The George Washington University. He is interested in media, migration, and human security issues (e.g., water, food security, and sanitation). Currently, he and two colleagues are embarking upon their capstone, an end-of-program field research project. Planet Forward has graciously decided to sponsor their research. As a result, Tyler and his team will be traveling to Guatemala mid-March to analyze the role of radio in Guatemala's national health campaign La Ventana de los Mil Dias, an initiative to prevent malnutrition in pregnant women and children under two years.
