Suzanne Kelly-Lyall

ContributorSuzanne Kelly-Lyall is the Deputy Director of George Washington University’s Program for International Studies in Asia (PISA). Prior to joining PISA in 1999, she was a Senior Program Officer for International Affairs with the Asia Foundation. Suzanne has over 18 years of academic and professional experience in Asia. She has a regional expertise in South and Southeast Asia with special focus on trafficking and forced migration, human rights, and how these issues relate to globalization. Ms. Kelly-Lyall is particularly interested in the intersection of climate-induced migration, adaptive strategies and gender. Her current work concentrates on the how climate change is impacting development in Southeast and South Asia. She co-developed a Ford Foundation project that identifies and provides targeted leadership, skill building and support for policy makers working on climate change issues in Southeast Asia. In 2010, Suzanne developed a video project on climate adaption in coastal Vietnam. She is planning to direct a second video project Ban Nhop in 2012.
