I am a graduate student in University of Arizona's Master's of Development Practice program and an aspiring development practitioner and social scientist primarily interested in climate change adaptation and international development originally from the good 'ol state of Pennsylvania!
Throughout my academic and professional career, I have traveled to many countries across Africa, Asia, South America, and the Pacific as an undergraduate researcher, Peace Corps volunteer, and Fulbright student researcher. I have become inspired by the passion and creativity of those around the world seeking to promote sustainable development despite many barriers and challenges. Climate change is not just about polar bears, it is about people. Everyone of us has a different story to tell about our relationship to the planet, and it is time we all gather stories that highlight different perspectives to re-imagine the issue of climate change as not just an international crisis, but an opportunity for the common core of our shared humanity to move our planet forward.
