One of the things I've found to be so fun about covering issues on food security is that there is always new food to try. At the spice farm, Gaby got to taste Cassava. Cassava is a major cash crop in Africa and feeds nearly 500 million people daily according to the NEXTGEN Cassava project. There's also nothing better than fresh fruit in my oh so humble opinion. At the Hakuna Matata spice farm, our guide, Butterfly, climbed the palm tree to get fresh coconuts then let us drink the milk. No bottled coconut water can possibly compare to the fresh stuff.
