Looking Up: The Green Roof

Green roof-ing is actually what is up in urban sustainability!

It’s one of the easiest ways to help improve the efficiency and environmental impact of a building, not to add that it is also easily marketable to future costumers and developers.

The Science and Engineering Hall (SEH) in The George Washington University is adding this feature to the many other factors that make it an environmentalist's fantasy and a true example for future mega-constructions. The University is also committed to sustainable innovation in more ways than one, and bringing the Green Roof Project to 4 other buildings on campus is just the gateway.

A green roof is supposed to be unique, and the more effort you put into it, the more you will get in return. Check out this “tell-all” list that details all the monetary and environmental benefits a green roof can have. The possibilities are close to endless.
