Students at the University of Central Missouri partnered with the school and local community to launch an initiative that will lower their energy expenses by 31% and free bike rentals.

University of Central Missouri’s Office of Sustainability, the only student-run office on campus, leads sustainable efforts on campus including educational programing, community outreach, and program expansion. Through a direct relationship with our administrators we are able to make sustainable campus-wide change very quickly to curb behavior and create a culture of sustainability. Through these efforts our students at UCM to not only “Choose Red” but “Choose Red, and Go Green.”
