As announced as the 2017 Planet Forward Summit, this summer CARE — a global leader dedicated to ending poverty — and Planet Forward have partnered to send YOU around the world to tell stories about global challenges, as a part of our first joint storytelling Fellowship initiative.
We're looking for a student storyteller to travel to one of CARE’s offices in Africa or South America to learn about CARE’s work and tell CARE’s stories. You will be looking for, as Simon Duncan-Watt explained at the Summit, stories about the "shared human experiences" that will help your audience relate to people from around the globe.
This is a month-long trip. We're looking for a self-starter with an adventurous spirit. And that's a really important part of this opportunity. It will be your mission to find and tell powerful stories about CARE’s work and the people with whom we work.
Do you want to go on our storytelling expedition? Complete the application at care.org/expedition. CARE will be in touch with applicants by e-mail before June 1.
