PF_Storyfest_Badge_V4_03-15-16_ALsmall-03.png This short documentary depicts a newly formed non-profit entity, the Boone Community Bicycle Collective (BCBC). Nestled within mountains at 3,333 feet above sea level, the majority of residents in Boone, NC, are reluctant to consider bicycling as a means of transportation despite having a relatively flat and very compact downtown and campus.

The interviews paint a brief picture of the struggles faced by this small college town in promoting a diverse bicycling culture throughout the years and what the BCBC — through creativity and resourcefulness — is attempting to do differently to ensure a sustainable cycling culture.
