Criteria to evaluate alternative energy.

Most problem solving start with establishing certain criteria, so why not do the same with evaluating alternative energy sources?
Here are, in my opinion, the three main criteria to evaluate alternative energy:

1. It should not impact public health. (No air pollution)
2. It should have no or minimal impact of the world’s biosphere. (Global
Climate change)
3. It should be able to be stored and only used when needed.

If it does not meet these criteria, it will not solve our present problems created by the use of fossil fuels and therefore should be criteria used by governments before any taxpayers money is spent on subsidies.
