The C40 has grown rapidly since it was first established in 2005 by the then-Mayor of London Ken Livingston. Now encompassing 58 cities around the world and having recently merged with the Clinton Climate Initiative, the C40 is continuing to expand its reach, forming groundbreaking partnerships (one with the World Bank) and supporting a wide range of climate-related projects.
