Al Gore's Latest Update to An Inconvenient Truth (Ted Conference 2009)

According to Time magazine, recent survey results released by the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press indicate that the number of people who believe there is strong evidence the earth has gotten warmer over the last few decades has dropped precipitously...20% in 2 years in fact. And the report also says only 36% believe the evidence indicates temperature increase is caused by human factors.

According to Pew, the question was first asked in 2006, as the ramp up to the release of Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth was catching on. Did that skew the results? Is it time for a new powerpoint? Are the survey results this year the result of a bad sample?
